During this project it was really cool to see how a class can come together and use their strenghts to create a really awesome project. As for myself, being an artist i designed the logo. First i listened to what tthe class had to say, and what they thought would be a good reprosentation of the idea that we were trying to convay. We all agreed that an eye with some kind of question mark would be appropriet. I went home and drew it, but then after some critique, the original changed alot. For the most part, i enjoyed working in a group, however at times i found myself getting really annoyed. I think it was because their are alot of strong personalities, including my own, trying to agree on one subject. I am used to being able to make decisions based on what i think is right, and not trying to get approval from others, which i guess is a bad thing. I also did not like that when some peoples idea wasnt nescesserily the favorite, they would shut down and not want to participate anymore.Another thing that i found to be annyoing was that kind of after the annicial excitment of finishing the first couple posters, the motivation kind of slowed down, and the last few posters took a little longer then expected. I also wish that we could have done larger posters, but overall i think this project was really successful. i think that as a class we did a really god job coming together and producing something that i think we should be proud of. i think that once we hang up the posters, they will deliver a clear message that may not eliminate stereotypes, but makes people stop and think for a minuite about how someones looks dont nescesserily define them, and to think twice before they label them and ultimatly that was the point of the peoject.
